Aus Music follow up a string of releases from Shenoda, Recloose and Marquis Hawkes with a Disco-tinged 12” courtesy of a fresh signee and Millionhands head honcho Tee Mango.
Having so far almost exclusively released on Millionhands alone, Tee Mango makes a rare appearance outside of his home turf and in doing so follows on from his acclaimed ‘Imperfections Vol.1’ LP which garnered widespread following from the likes of Axel Boman, Palms Trax, Gilles Peterson and Bonobo.
His EP#1 for Aus carries forth the sense of raw, sample heavy soul that was the real spark of Imperfections Vol.1, while maintaining a feel for the needs of the dancefloor. Loose, natural drums, deftly chopped samples and hazy synth lines keep it moody. This collection of 4 tracks could be the perfect soundtrack for those early days of sunshine.
