Sound Support, made up of Lars Dales & Lorenz Rhode, released their first two EPs on Prins Thomas’
Internasjonal, then appearing on House of Disco, Let’s Play House and Permanent Vacation. Now arriving
on Will Saul’s Aus Music imprint, the duo deliver three tracks spanning House, Italo, Electro and beyond,
showcasing their unique ability to craft fun and well-considered dance music.
Leading the EP is ‘The Beauty and the Beat’, which combines a crunchy 4/4 pattern with lush chord stabs
and a playful synth lead for an inviting start to the EP. ‘(But I still have) Fantasies’ follows, bringing broken,
Electro-tinged drums complete with fluttering arps, wriggling FX, and sweeping pads. ‘Eve’, a piano-led house
jam of the highest order, closes proceedings with memorable hooks and funky, swinging percussion.
