Birmingham's Subb-an has been part of the house underground for two decades, yet his sound has never settled in one place. From early days crafting tech and minimal via house, breaks and much in between, he has always balanced studio craftsmanship with dancefloor impact. Next to heading up his own Sub Series, he has landed on an array of the most influential labels of the day and continues to play the likes of Fabric, Panorama Bar and DC10 while exploring new frontiers with his impressive hardware-driven live shows. On his Aus Music debut, he taps into newly introspective house that moves body and mind.
Amsterdam-based Melle Jutte is a beat-maker turned experimental house and techno producer who draws from soul and jazz to craft genre-defying sounds rich in harmony. He features on lead single 'Sunchaser', a heavy but uplifting house sound with a throbbing low end and aching vocals that tug at the heart. It's a dynamic sound that marries big bass with lush synth work.
Celebrated podcast host and TV regular George the Poet is a pioneering spoken-word artist and rapper whose work is rich in social and political awareness. On 'Project 4', his voice sits amongst soft waves of melody and dusty, driving kicks while musing on the importance of confronting pain. It's an empowering deep house cruiser with acidic swirls and deft harmonies that feel immediate yet intimate.
'A Conversation' hits the perfect sweet spot between emotional depth and dance floor drive. Upright kicks are softened with wispy pads and flickering sound designs that leave neon trails as the groove surges into distant future worlds. Closer 'Dreamer' glows warm with rubbery bass and gorgeous, golden chords that encourage you to get lost in a late-night reverie.
Lead single 'Sunchaser' arrives on 5th Februrary 2026 and the full EP follows on 26th February.
